Establish in Techniques and Fundamentals First !!!

If one is commencing its journey for JEE/NEET/CA entrace preparation, he/she has to understand that foundation of 'techniques and attitude' to be looked after first even before building the subject. Take any field whether it is sports or studies, the proper techniques always matter. Otherwise, there are chances of huge wastage of hardwork that is being put in studies in these 2 years. Most of the time, teachers are teaching and completing the syllabus. Even they don't know about the techniques. When question is asked - Why score is getting stagnant, they don't have answer. They will just convey - beta, aur jyada padhai karo.

Now, whether he is top performer or low performer, everybody needs to hone techniques. Most of the times, toppers and parents are overconfident for their success during schooling. Once he/she starts feeling to be the best and lose attitude, he naturally lose ability to listen and trust their Guru. They are even ignorant of existence of such technique, which can increase their scores further and make them stand firmly in heavy competition of top ranks.

There are instances when students do well and fumble in last minute. We leave this instance as matter of luck. Actually it is not luck that plays role over here. It is a matter of practice -practice of examination techniques.

Now, this student doesn't understand where exactly he is getting wrong. What measures he has to adopt for increasing the score. He just keeps studying more and more. But, he ends up with no significant gain. This adds to frustration further, and he starts thinking that he is not competent enough.

Today, JEE/NEET Students getting in XI standard don't know the techniques. They don't know how to prepare themselves for class next day, how to study current topic, what is proportion of theory and solving in regular studies, how to achieve more studies in less time, how to remove backlog, how to revise, examination techniques etc.

Techniques are greatly underemphasized in our coaching system. It, indeed, carries immense importance, and special efforts should be taken to hone the techniques. Once techniques are honed, it is easy to build the subject. Building on techniques is a slow process. The most important aspect of Foundation program is to look after the development of techniques along with other critical aspects.
