What made ICAD develop its own Lecture Plans??

ICAD started its JEE operations in 2004. This is just the commencement of JEE culture in Nagpur as Indian Government made AIEEE (now JEE Main) compulsory for admission to VNIT (earlier VRCE). Vidarbha students used to prepare XII (PCM) board for admission to VNIT. Very few bothered to prepare for IIT-JEE. Now after mandatory AIEEE for admission to VNIT, Students started preparing for IIT-JEE (Now JEE Advanced) as it is realized that IIT-JEE students come out with good score in AIEEE. Later, Vidarbha students shifted their target to IITs.

Coaching institutes, at that time, started using test materials from big institutes and books from big authors. We experimented with study material from one of the famous institutes of North, and realized on the very first day that it is too difficult for our students. Students could not digest the most acclaimed books of H C Verma, Iradov, Resnic Halliday. Their competitive base in schooling was weak. They prepared for X board, and very few developed the foundation for competitive examinations.

It's time to understand the students' competencies, and develop the content and pedagogy of the institution accordingly. ICAD team started with Pre-requisites, i.e. Study base that was required to be developed in schooling. With hundreds of questions covered in Pre-requisites, students realized that they have not prepared this base in schools. Schools are not at fault, as it was not expected from them.

After Pre-requisite, ICAD started developing Lecture Plans with 6 steps - Step 1 (CBSE/State Board), Step 2 (Higher level Descriptive Questions/ now Numericals), Step 3 and 4 (JEE-Main), Step 5 and 6 (JEE-Advanced). When it is stepwise preparation, students start with the basic step of descriptive preparation and gradually climb up the ladder depending on his or her commitment. Solving Systems like their march easier. Now, its easy for students to go stepwise. Some students stop at step 3 or 4, while some even demand questions from step 7 and 8.

After years of refinement of content and commitment from ICAD's team members, ICAD's content side is perfect now. Students don't need to spend a single penny on other books and study material. They just need to have NCERT books, ICAD modules, and ICAD Lecture Plans. This content is enough to nurture Top JEE rankers of India and give justice to every student of the institute.
